Amun Kaur

Amun Kaur’s work begins with a simple premise: most people arrive in therapy carrying far more than they’ve been given room to put down. Working from Milton, Ontario and online, Amun is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) whose practice draws on psychodynamic and attachment-based thinking, inner-child work, somatic processing, and approaches like IFS, EFT, and elements of DBT and CBT. She holds additional training in perinatal mental health, birth and reproductive trauma, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Gottman-Method Couples Therapy — a range that reflects how seriously she takes meeting people where they actually are.

She works with individuals and couples navigating relational stress, burnout, identity questions, grief, trauma, and the particular weight of parenthood — including the full reproductive journey, postpartum mood disorders, and the identity shifts that come with matrescence. When the habit of scrolling through distress rather than sitting with it has become a substitute for processing, somatic and body-based work gives clients a concrete way back into their own experience.
