Dan Watterworth believes that healing is something a person moves through, not around β and that having the right guide alongside makes the difference. A Registered Psychotherapist based in Hamilton, Ontario, Dan brings to his work a firsthand understanding of what meaningful change actually requires: honesty, tenacity, and a willingness to stay with the hard parts. He holds a BTh. and MDiv., and his practice reflects both a clinical grounding and a genuine investment in each person’s story.
Dan works with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns β including anxiety, self-esteem, grief, communication, parenting, infidelity, family conflict, and forgiveness β with particular care extended to children, teens, and men navigating their own distinct challenges. He also integrates Christian counselling for those whose faith is part of their growth. Sessions are available online for clients who prefer remote access.
What draws Dan to this work is the same thing he asks of the people he sits with: the courage to show up. Whether someone is working through a fractured relationship, a long-avoided grief, or the quiet difficulty of simply staying present when distraction has become habitual, Dan values the commitment it takes to move toward wholeness β and considers it a privilege to be part of that process.
