About Me

When people arrive in Kim Christink’s office, they are often carrying something they have not yet been able to name — a marriage fraying at the edges, a rage that frightens them, a grief that will not move, a fear so entrenched it has quietly reorganized their whole life. Kim is a Registered Psychotherapist based in Burlington, Ontario, who works with individual adults, couples, families, and teens navigating emotional abuse, anger, anxiety, conflict, divorce, and the slow weight of caregiver exhaustion.

What drives her is the moment of shift — when a person who arrived unable to see their own worth suddenly does. That particular moment, she will tell you plainly, never gets ordinary. She brings the same intensity to restoring a marriage as she does to helping a parent repair a relationship with an adult child or to guiding someone out from under the long shadow of abandonment. Her work also takes seriously what chronic overstimulation does to the body: when a nervous system never gets to power down, the emotional growth her clients are reaching for becomes genuinely harder to access.

Grounded in both clinical skill and Christian faith, Kim’s practice is built on one conviction — that every person sitting across from her is already more than they realize, and her job is simply to help them see it. Online sessions are available.
