I’m Laura Lilien, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Marlton, New Jersey, I use an eclectic approach to help people make positive changes. It includes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, and my work is trauma informed, with training in clinical trauma work. I am trained in DBT, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which I apply to anxiety and depression.
My specialties are trauma, depression, anxiety, general mental health, special education advocacy, positive parenting and women’s issues, and I provide clinical supervision for those working toward licensure. My clients include high school students, transitional-age young adults, parents of young children and adults of all backgrounds, as well as clients with learning disabilities or hearing loss.
I help clients regulate emotions safely, notice negative thinking, and take a step back to see things another way. Sessions are warm and non-judgmental, with a supportive place to talk, support in rebuilding confidence, and guidance toward your own tools for healing. We work as a team toward realistic goals.
