Lauren Jefferson

I work with youth, with families and with adults across a range of ages. I’m Lauren Jefferson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Princeton, New Jersey. Youth I have supported include those who are nonverbal, autistic or transgender, those with attention disorders, those who self-harm and those who struggle with emotion regulation.

My adult clients include people who have faced abandonment, attachment difficulties, trauma and self-harm. My work with families has included parent coaching and psychoeducation, and I have provided services in people’s homes, in community settings and in schools.

My approach is empathetic and non-judgmental. Alongside evidence-based methods, I have found that listening actively and being welcoming support rapport and the achievement of goals.
