Depression, anxiety, grief, chronic dissatisfaction, the aftermath of trauma — whatever is making life feel unmanageable right now, you don’t have to face it on your own. My practice is relational and trauma-informed, drawing on mindfulness principles, attachment theory, and neurobiology. That means we pay close attention to how your relationships — past and present — have shaped your experience, notice what’s happening in the present moment, look honestly at the unconscious tendencies you’ve developed, and examine the long-standing patterns and coping strategies that may have served you at one point but now work against you.
I graduated from the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP), a rigorous programme recognised by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I maintain ongoing clinical supervision and continual professional training, and have completed extensive training in EMDR — an evidence-based trauma therapy. I also hold a Master’s degree in education from the University of Toronto, where I studied adult learning theory and counselling frameworks at depth.
As a therapist, I’m warm, direct, curious, and non-judgmental. My approach is collaborative and client-centred, operating from the principle that you are the expert in your own life. I tailor every session to your particular and evolving needs, without a predetermined script for where you should end up or how long it should take.
I work with depression, anxiety, stress, grief and bereavement, trauma, fertility-related concerns, sexual and gender identity, intimacy and relationship challenges, shame, loss of purpose, and major life transitions. My practice operates from an anti-oppressive framework and is fully inclusive of all genders, sexual orientations, and gender expressions — everyone is genuinely welcome here.
