Ann Marie Bescherer

Severe and persistent psychopathology draws me, and I enjoy working with complex co-occurring disorders and personality disorders. I’m Ann Marie Bescherer, and I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

I combine solution-focused, motivational interviewing, humanistic, cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches, with the aim of nurturing safety and trust. I tailor them to each client’s needs, aiming to support growth, development and stability with mental health and addiction concerns. I first trained in EMDR in the mid-1990s and completed both levels of basic training later.

I offer counseling for individuals, couples, families and groups, plus individual psychotherapy using EMDR that addresses trauma, both simple and complex. My clinical experience includes adults, geriatrics and adolescents.
