Many people arrive at Brianna Stewart’s door carrying a weight they’ve struggled to name โ fractured relationships, a mood that won’t lift, a dependence they’ve tried to outgrow, or a sense of being perpetually available to everyone yet truly known by no one. As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) registered with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario, Brianna works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families across Cambridge and online, addressing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, substance concerns, workplace stress, and the slow erosion that can follow abuse.
Her therapeutic toolkit draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, mindfulness, and spiritually integrated psychotherapy โ an academic foundation built at Martin Luther University College and Wilfrid Laurier University. Rather than imposing a fixed framework, she tailors these approaches to the person in front of her, because she holds firmly to the view that each client is the foremost expert on their own life.
Brianna’s aim is to help people reconnect with capacities they may have lost sight of and to move toward goals that feel genuinely theirs. She approaches every therapeutic relationship with the conviction that possibility and growth remain available even inside life’s hardest seasons.
