When the weight of intense emotions starts fraying the relationships that matter most — or when simply getting through the day feels like a battle — many people quietly wonder if things will always feel this hard. Camille Alizadeh, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Toronto, works with exactly those people: individuals and couples navigating emotional dysregulation, Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex PTSD, and the relational ruptures that so often follow. Her work is particularly attuned to the younger clients who arrive carrying not just the usual pressures of adolescence but also the exhausting performance of being visible and “okay” across every platform and group chat.
Camille begins with a thorough assessment of each person’s history and present circumstances, then builds a therapeutic plan grounded in attachment theory and shaped entirely around that individual’s needs. Her approach draws on depth-oriented processing, experiential and somatic techniques, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), all held within an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed framework. She also facilitates community support groups and workshops, creating settings where shared experience becomes its own source of growth.
Camille holds a Master of Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School and an Honours BA in Psychology from York University, and currently practises under clinical supervision. She offers sessions virtually throughout Ontario.
