For over thirty years, Clairelise Folch has worked from a single conviction: that when people understand their own thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour, they regain the ability to move forward. Based in Oakville, Ontario, she works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, domestic and emotional abuse, burnout, family conflict, and the particular weight of caring for aging parents — or for children who seem unreachable, whether that distance is emotional or measured in hours of screen time.
Her practice draws on an integrated toolkit: Emotional Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, EFT tapping on meridian points, breath meditation, mindfulness, and expressive arts — no artistic background required. The approach is gentle and adaptive, shaped around each client’s pace and needs rather than a fixed protocol. Holistic, emotion-focused, and solution-oriented, it aims at goals that are real and within reach.
Clairelise holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Therapies and is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is also a certified Parenting Facilitator. Sessions are available online, and she works in English, French, and German.
