My name is Corey Lesperance, and I’m a Yorkville Masters’ graduate in Psychology.
The problems people bring to therapy are rarely simple. Life places all of us in contact with conflict, resistance, and circumstances that exceed our usual resources β moments when the ordinary tools of emotional stability and self-understanding no longer feel adequate. What I offer is a place to examine those moments honestly: to understand how they developed, what meaning they carry, and what genuine movement through them might actually look like in your particular case.
I work with individuals who feel stuck in patterns they can’t explain, who have lost a sense of meaning or direction, who find social and family situations difficult to navigate, who are struggling with questions of identity or purpose, or who are trying to make sense of experiences that have begun to significantly affect their wellbeing. My style of psychotherapy is grounded in depth psychology β exploring the psyche and the shadow, working through the process of individuation, and taking seriously the material that emerges through dream analysis and genuine self-reflection.
I draw on the philosophical traditions of Marcus Aurelius around temperance, insight, and maintaining equanimity under pressure. My own values are traditionally Judeo-Christian, which grounds my belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person β that all people are capable of goodness and of growing into something greater. I hold these values as the foundation of how I approach people, not as an agenda I bring to your specific situation.
We live in a time of relentless information and very little genuine stillness. The constant noise of connected life β the pressure to remain always available, always responsive, always performing β can make it hard to hear anything underneath. Part of what I offer is the space to step back from that and look honestly at what’s actually there: what matters to you, where you’re stuck, and what movement might require.
I am non-judgmental in practice. Whatever you’re carrying, I’m interested in understanding it with you. Sessions take place at Di Natale Chiropractic and Sports Therapy, and booking is available through their scheduling platform.
