Courtney Glashow

About Me

I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety during life transitions, and I chose the approach because it can be brief and deals with present difficulties. I am Courtney Glashow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hoboken, New Jersey, trained in play therapy, art therapy and CBT.

I work with pre-teens, teens, adults, couples and families. Adolescence can be a difficult period that can bring self-doubt, identity questions, behavioral problems, school struggles, and conflict in the family and in relationships, along with anxiety and depression. Teens can use therapy to talk through what they face and to work through emotions with a professional.

Sessions, held in person or through online therapy, cover life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma and everyday stressors. We look at intrusive thoughts and patterns, and at ways to stop them from fueling low mood or anxiety.
