At the heart of Delreen Hiscock’s work is a quiet but firm conviction: people are capable of change, and the right support makes all the difference. Delreen is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist based in Cambridge, Ontario, offering both in-person and online sessions to teenagers, adults, and older adults navigating some of life’s harder stretches — anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship breakdown, grief, family conflict, and the aftermath of abuse.
She works with individuals, couples, and families, tailoring each session rather than applying a fixed formula. Her practice draws on Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems approaches, alongside deeper psychotherapeutic exploration of how the past shapes present patterns. For many clients, that present includes the low-grade, hard-to-name stress of a phone that never fully switches off — the kind of restlessness that shows up as 2 a.m. scrolling or an inbox that trails them into the weekend.
Delreen holds a Master of Divinity in Counselling from Tyndale University and Seminary and maintains registration with both CRPO and CAMFT. Her goal is straightforward: to walk alongside people as they move toward a life that feels more like their own.
