From the first session, Emma Towers works to make one thing clear: this is a space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself into being understood. She listens first, meets people where they are, and builds from there — pairing genuine acceptance with the practical skill-building that makes lasting change possible. Growth and validation aren’t opposites in her work; they’re the same movement.
Emma works with children, teenagers, young adults, men, and women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and the aftermath of abuse. She has a particular investment in parents, families touched by the child welfare system, and young people carrying the weight of difficult experiences. Her approach draws on self-care and healthy boundaries as the foundation, not the finishing touch, of mental wellness.
Emma holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Educational Studies from Alma College and a master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Cadillac, Michigan, offering both in-person and online sessions to individuals and families ready to work toward a more authentic version of themselves.
