Erin Gilmour

Recovery is possible — and connection is where it begins.

About Me

Sometimes the moment people finally reach out is when they no longer recognize themselves — worn down by patterns that aren’t working, or quietly unraveling through a season of life that caught them completely off guard. Erin Gilmour is a Registered Psychotherapist based in Quinte West, Ontario, who works with individuals navigating addiction, eating disorders, complex trauma, and the often-overlooked emotional terrain of pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal loss. She came to each of these areas personally as well as professionally, and that dual understanding shapes the way she shows up with clients — with directness, warmth, and a conviction that lasting recovery is genuinely possible.

Erin holds certification as a Canadian Addictions Counsellor and draws on CBT-E, IFS, ACT, Somatic Experiencing, and Coherence Therapy, matching the approach to the person rather than the other way around. She knows that disordered eating and addictive behaviours don’t stay in one corner of a person’s life — they follow people into quiet moments, into relationships, into the 2 a.m. phone check that becomes its own spiral. Sessions are designed to address both the surface symptoms and the deeper emotional roots beneath them.

Erin works with men and women individually and in groups, and offers online sessions for those who prefer to connect from home. A free 20-minute consultation is available for anyone weighing whether therapy might be the right fit.
