Janeen Weatherhead

When people find Janeen Weatherhead, they are usually already exhausted — carrying grief, old wounds, fractured relationships, or the kind of persistent anxiety that makes ordinary days feel impossibly heavy. Janeen is a Registered Psychotherapist based in Fergus, Ontario, who works with individuals aged 16 and up, couples, and groups across a wide range of struggles: trauma and abuse recovery, mood and anxiety disorders, addiction, burnout, and the particular pain that shows up in families and intimate relationships. Sessions are available in person and online.

At Hope Centered Counselling, her practice is built on the conviction that healing doesn’t follow a single script. Many clients arrive having spent months in a state of chronic overwhelm — unable to step away from the pull of notifications, work demands, and constant connectivity — and Janeen treats that exhausted, overstimulated nervous system as a real clinical starting point, not a lifestyle complaint. She draws on evidence-based methods alongside genuinely relational care, adjusting her approach to what each person actually needs that day, whether that means processing deep patterns or simply having room to breathe.
