Jessica Stephens

Awareness of your arc opens choices you didn't know were there.

About Me

Walking into a first session with Jessica Stephens, clients often sense something unusual: a practitioner who is neither rattled nor distant, someone who has genuinely seen a great deal of life and carries that experience as steadiness rather than judgment. Her practice, ARC Therapy Services, is built on a simple conviction — that Acceptance, Resolution, and Creation are not stages to move through in sequence but forces that weave through every life story, including the difficult ones. Becoming conscious of that arc, she believes, is frequently where real choice begins.

Jessica holds credentials as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and brings training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Occupational Therapy, and Sensory Integration to bear on whatever a particular client actually needs — she selects the tool for the moment rather than applying a single model to everyone. Her practice serves individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, addiction, abuse recovery, mood and anxiety disorders, crisis, workplace burnout, and the quieter tensions that build when people feel disconnected from meaning — including the kind that emerges when a phone at the table quietly replaces a conversation. She works with teenagers through to elderly adults across Brighton, Trenton, Cobourg, and Campbellford, Ontario, and online.

Jessica’s orientation is humanistic and existential at its core, with particular attention to meaning-making as both the fuel and the compass of good therapy. The rapport between practitioner and client, she would readily tell you, matters as much as any technique.
