Junie Baek

Collaborative care that aligns how you live with what you value

About Me

There’s often a moment — a relationship fraying at its edges, a career that’s hollowed out, a grief that won’t move — when people decide they need more than willpower to get through. That’s frequently when they find Junie Baek, a Registered Psychotherapist in Brampton, Ontario, who works with individuals, couples, and young people aged twelve and up through her online practice at Psychotherapy Collective.

Junie’s path into psychotherapy began with a first master’s degree in music therapy, rooted in a background in classical performance. That grounding shaped a practice attentive to how people express what’s hardest to say, whether through words, creativity, or both. She works with children, teens, young adults, couples, and older adults navigating anxiety, emotional abuse, burnout, family conflict, divorce, grief, caregiver stress, chronic illness, and confidence and self-esteem. Sessions draw on Emotion-Focused Therapy, relational psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and play-based approaches — always chosen to fit the person in the room, not the other way around.

Her practice is collaborative by design: she works alongside clients to surface patterns that pull them away from the lives they want. A free fifteen-minute consultation is available so anyone considering therapy can get a clear sense of fit before committing.
