Justin Juarez

About Me

Queer and gender-expansive clients are a focus of my practice. I also work with transgender and nonbinary clients, Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) clients, and people in non-traditional relationships, whether polyamorous, open or another alternative structure. My name is Justin Juarez, and I practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, California.

Concerns I work with include anxiety, depression, trauma, feelings of disconnection and relationship patterns. For trauma I turn to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I bring in ecotherapy principles to support grounding and clarity. I have training in both.

My practice is culturally affirming, trauma-informed, sex positive and weight inclusive, and it draws on harm reduction, informed consent and racial equity. Sessions are in English, and I work collaboratively to identify clients’ strengths.
