Kathleen Heitzler

Direct challenge and compassion work together in my sessions, and I aim to help clients end patterns that get in the way of both their goals and their well-being. I am Kathleen (Kate) Heitzler, practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Loveland, Colorado.

Areas I work with include nervous system regulation, survival responses, chronic fight-flight-freeze-fawn cycles and feeling stuck. I offer somatic nervous system work along with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems and ketamine-assisted therapy. Where appropriate, I also include somatic psychedelic integration.

Sessions are warm, genuine and engaged. They include honest conversation and some humor. I aim to reshape how the brain and body react at the root, and insight is only part of that.
