About Me

I offer adults and couples a calm, attentive space to work through what’s complicated — the feelings that resist easy explanation, the relationship patterns that repeat despite your best intentions, the ways that old wounds continue to shape current life.

My practice draws on Psychodynamic Therapy with a strong relational focus. Much of what drives our experience operates below the level of conscious awareness: the attachment patterns formed early, the unconscious roles we’ve taken on, the defences that once served us and now hold us back. I work with clients to bring this material into view — not to dwell in the past, but to understand it clearly enough that it stops running the show.

I have a particular interest in supporting men, first responders, older adults, individuals navigating caregiving or a family member’s addiction, and adult children of alcoholics or difficult family systems. My own lived experience with the long-term effects of childhood trauma gives me an authentic understanding of what complex healing actually involves.

Through a trauma-informed lens, we identify the triggers and patterns that cause difficulty, develop genuine emotional insight, and create the internal conditions for meaningful change. If you’d like to explore whether we’re a good fit, a free phone consultation is a good place to begin.
