I enjoy exploring emotional patterns with people who want to understand them, and the goals include better relationships, wellbeing, confidence and sense of self. My name is Lucille (Lucy) Heller, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Broomfield, Colorado.
I work with adults, individuals, couples and families, including queer and trans clients in an affirming space, people in polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, and people who care deeply about the world. Concerns include anxiety, depression, grief, anger, burnout, identity exploration, communication challenges, difficulty caring for self and feeling frozen by political events.
A person-centered approach shapes my work, with respect for client wisdom. Main interventions are parts-work (emotion-based), somatic (body-based) and relational (connection-based), offered in person and through online therapy. My work also uses social justice and feminist lenses, with attention to consent and power dynamics. I am trained in Internal Family Systems (Level 1) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Basic Training.
