Pamela Li’s work as a Registered Psychotherapist begins with a conviction that every person carries an innate capacity for a full and meaningful life — and that the therapist’s role is to help them find and trust it. Practicing out of Ottawa and across Ontario via online sessions, Pamela works with individuals, youth aged 10 and up, couples, and families, drawing on an integrative, evidence-based toolkit that includes MBCT, IFS, EMDR, DBT, Art Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her practice is tailored each time: no two people share the same story, and she doesn’t treat them as if they do.
Her areas of focus span anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief, anger, body image, ADHD, eating disorders, and cultural and racial identity — including support for the LGBTQ2IA+ community and those navigating emotional or psychological abuse. For clients in demanding professional contexts, she also addresses burnout and workplace stress, including the low-grade exhaustion of a workday fractured by constant notifications, where completing a single sustained task can start to feel like an achievement in itself.
Pamela grounds every therapeutic relationship in trust, honesty, and genuine collaboration. She offers a free 15-minute consultation for anyone wondering whether working together might be the right fit.
