Relational-cultural therapy is the approach I practice, a feminist therapy that sees relationships as what drives change. My name is Radha Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennington, New Jersey.
I work with adults in individual and group therapy. Addiction, trauma and concerns affecting gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people are my focus areas. I apply relational-cultural therapy to disconnection and isolation tied to substance use, trauma, gender identity and sexual orientation.
I have specialized training in relational-cultural therapy and intensive training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and I have trained in motivational interviewing and in TREM, a trauma recovery model. My style is holistic, direct and affirming, and sessions are built around a safe, collaborative relationship.
