Rebecca Ailisheva

I work with queer, trans and gender-expansive people, and with activists and people involved in social change as they work to balance their values and integrity with getting by and thriving in tough circumstances.

I am Rebecca Ailisheva, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oakland, California. My background includes radical mental health, community mental health and community organizing, along with work in a variety of clinical settings.

I have experience with stress, anxiety, LGBTQ+-related issues, relationship issues, trauma and abuse. Attachment issues, and chronic pain, illness and disability, are additional areas of focus. I adapt each client’s treatment plan and sessions to what that person needs. Respect, sensitivity and compassion are what I try to offer everyone.
