Walking into a first session with Stefan Milosevic, clients often notice something they didn’t expect: they set the pace. Stefan, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, doesn’t push toward breakthroughs on a schedule — he meets people where they are and moves forward gradually, on their terms. That same steadiness carries into his work with teens who are managing school pressure while navigating the social anxieties that come with living so much of their lives online, watched and watching.
Stefan works with teenagers, young adults, men, women, and older adults facing anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, addiction, and stress. His practice draws on EMDR to help clients reprocess difficult memories, Exposure and Response Prevention as a primary treatment for OCD and social anxiety, trauma-informed CBT to reshape thought patterns and the behaviours that follow from them, and solution-focused therapy for clients who want a shorter, more action-oriented approach.
His background includes roles at two addiction centres and a group home, where he developed a clear-eyed understanding of how trauma underlies many struggles with addiction. Stefan holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He offers online sessions, a sliding scale for those without insurance coverage, and a free 15-minute introductory call.
