Todd Hayen holds a conviction that runs through everything he does as a therapist: real change begins when a person learns to meet themselves with curiosity rather than judgment. Drawing on depth psychology, transpersonal perspectives, and a person-centered foundation, he works from the premise that each individual already carries within them the capacity for meaning, connection, and healing — and that the role of therapy is to help illuminate that capacity, not install it from the outside.
A Registered Psychotherapist based in Aurora, Ontario, Todd works with adults, teenagers, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, addiction, abuse recovery, and the particular exhaustion that comes from lives lived under sustained pressure. He also brings the same humanistic lens to career counseling, professional burnout, and organizational work.
His own path to this work was shaped by personal loss and a sustained engagement with what he describes as the soul of everyday life — the understanding that suffering and joy are not opposites to be resolved but dimensions of a complete human existence. Todd approaches each person with unconditional regard, and with a belief that gratitude, compassion, and self-awareness are not ideals to reach for but practices that can be learned. Online sessions are available.
