Trish Joyes

Grounded in hope, focused on skills that hold in real life.

About Me

For those navigating anxiety, burnout, neurodivergence, or the quiet weight of a life that feels stuck, Trish Joyes built Kindred Hope Wellness around one consistent belief: that real change is possible when people feel genuinely supported. As founder and clinical director, Trish works alongside a team of psychotherapists and counsellors to match each person with the right fit for their needs — whether that’s individual sessions, group work, or parenting and career coaching.

Trish helps teenagers, adults, families, and professionals work through challenges ranging from mood and anxiety disorders to trauma, chronic illness, and major life transitions. That includes clients who find it hard to mentally leave work even after the laptop closes — carrying the pressure of unread messages and unfinished decisions well into their personal hours. Using approaches such as CBT, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, IFS, and narrative therapy, the Kindred Hope team draws on a wide toolkit to find what actually works for each person rather than applying a single method to everyone.

Sessions are available in person and online, and a free 15-minute consultation call is offered so prospective clients can ask questions and get a feel for the fit before committing. More information is available at kindredhope.ca, by phone at 289-841-7132, or by email at info@kindredhope.ca.
