My Approach to ADHD Coaching is to work with a child, teen, or college student and their parents or a young adult to understand the uniqueness of their ADHD and how it impacts themselves and their family. In addition, the client’s Executive Functioning Skills are assessed to determine which cognitive skills require support to regulate thinking, feeling and behavior in order to reach a goal. If the brain is the engine of learning and self-regulation, Executive Functioning is the driver of that engine. Social Skills coaching may also be a need for some clients with ADHD. The continual focus of my coaching is always on identifying a client’s strengths, building their self-esteem and developing strategies to help the client improve areas of weakness to succeed in school and in life. Jacqueline provides ADHD and executive function coaching for children, teens, and college students, partnering closely with parents to build strengths-based strategies and daily habits that support success at school and at home.
