Darwin Gillett

Mind, body, and spirit treated as one whole person.

About Me

From the very first session, Darwin Gillett creates a space where the whole person is present β€” not just the problem they walked in with. Grounded in twenty years of clinical practice, Darwin works with children, teenagers, adults, and families across a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and mood disorders to addiction, abuse, and the particular ache of feeling invisible to the people you talk to every day.

His approach draws on mind-body psychotherapy, advanced clinical hypnotherapy, and spiritual counseling, weaving together methods that treat thought, emotion, and physical experience as inseparable. Trained at the University of New Hampshire and Bates College, Darwin holds an LICSW in Massachusetts and leads the Center for Mind-Body Psychotherapy in Newburyport. He has brought this work into classrooms, workshops, and television β€” and now into online sessions for those who need flexibility without sacrificing depth.

Darwin also holds a Reiki II certification and brings that same integrative sensibility to marriage and family counseling, supporting couples and adolescents in rebuilding intimacy and trust. His practice is not about managing symptoms in isolation; it is about understanding what is driving them.
