Jennifer Bartlett brings a grounded, people-first approach to her work as a Registered Social Worker in Woodstock, Ontario. She has built her practice around a clear conviction: that when everyday life starts to feel unmanageable, people deserve a compassionate space to work through what’s getting in the way. Jennifer works with teenagers, young adults, men, women, and older adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, abuse, family conflict, divorce, and the kind of persistent emotional weight that makes ordinary days harder than they should be.
Her sessions draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, and emotion-focused therapy — using whichever combination best fits the person in front of her. She also incorporates mindfulness, coping strategies, and behavioural activation to help clients move from surviving to functioning with more ease and self-awareness. For clients who find it hard to switch off after work — the email that arrives at 10 p.m., the mental loop that won’t quiet down — Jennifer helps identify what’s fuelling that stress and develop practical ways to manage it.
Jennifer offers individual and family counselling online across Ontario, with flexible scheduling that includes evenings. Sessions are available in both English and French.
