From the very first session, Rayven Cornelio wants clients to feel something specific: that they can say what they actually think without bracing for judgment. That appointment isn’t about paperwork or formalities — it’s a real conversation, a chance to get to know each other and begin shaping a treatment plan that belongs to the client, not the therapist.

Rayven is a Licensed Social Worker based in Lombard, Illinois, working with young people ages 12 to 25 who are navigating mood and depressive disorders, anxiety, anger, grief, identity questions, and family conflict. She brings an empathetic, warm, and creative style to individual counseling, and her bilingual fluency in Spanish and English means more young people can work with her in the language where they feel most like themselves. Family sessions often surface the small, loaded moments — a phone left face-up at the table, an argument that started over a text and never quite got resolved in person — and Rayven helps families find language for what those moments are really about.

Rayven’s approach is client-centered at its core: she sees her role as a guide alongside the client, not in front of them. Online sessions are available, and a free 15-minute consultation is offered to anyone ready to take a first step.
