Roland brings an unusually deep set of credentials to this work, holding licensure in clinical alcohol and drug counseling, international certification in gambling counseling, and national certification as an advanced clinical interventionist. His approach is holistic and collaborative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy to meet each person where they are. He also knows from personal experience what recovery demands — a fact that shapes how he listens and what he asks of the people he works with.
