Walking into a first session with Cory Klath, clients often find something they didn’t expect: room to simply say what’s actually going on. There’s no pressure to have it figured out beforehand. Whether someone arrives carrying years of accumulated pain or a quieter sense that their life could be working better than it is, Cory meets them where they are — with an approach that begins by asking what they actually want to walk away with, then building toward that from the start.
Over more than a decade of practice, Cory has worked with men and women navigating a wide range of experiences, including trauma and abuse recovery, crisis, infidelity, family-of-origin wounds, spiritual questions, and health-related anxiety. He also works with people who find that constant notifications and the pull of the feed have quietly eroded their ability to follow through on what matters most to them — that gap between intention and action is something counselling can directly address. Sessions are available online, so geographic distance is never a barrier.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with graduate training in Counselling Psychology, Cory keeps his practice grounded in current research while tailoring his methods to the individual sitting across from him. Every working relationship begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation.
