FIND the ADHD Girls

Helping girls with ADHD be seen sooner.

About Me

FINDtheADHDgirls is a project of the Inattentive ADHD Coalition focused on improving the early identification of ADHD in girls, with the goal of helping girls receive appropriate evaluation and support by age 8.

We educate parents, educators, clinicians, and community leaders about the often-overlooked signs of ADHD in young girls. Our programs include a free 10-minute ADHD-in-girls checklist, an extensive online resource library, educational handouts and articles, interviews with ADHD professionals and women with lived experience, and 30+ page educational booklets created for parents, schools, clinicians, churches, and youth organizations.

We also operate ADHD Advocates for Girls, an international volunteer advocacy program that equips individuals to share reliable information and resources within their own communities.

Through our website, social media, educational campaigns, and partnerships, FINDtheADHDgirls works to increase awareness of how ADHD can present differently in girls and encourage earlier conversations with parents, schools, pediatricians, and other professionals.
