I’m Amy Cox, a counselor at Hawthorne Counseling, and I work with children, teens, and adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. If reaching out for emotional support feels intimidating or you are not sure how to put what you are experiencing into words, I aim to offer a calm, welcoming space where you can feel less alone and more understood. My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centered, and we will focus on building self-compassion, insight, and practical tools that support your goals. With younger children, I integrate play-based approaches and partner closely with parents and caregivers so the whole system has support.
