Brian Fletcher

I’m Brian Fletcher, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Faithful Connections Christian Counseling in Cumberland, Rhode Island. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and addiction, along with the relationship strain that so often comes with them, and the newer pressures that arrive through our screens, from household conflict over devices to the low mood that deepens with endless scrolling.

My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. We set clear goals together, and I draw on proven approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, family systems work, and motivational interviewing to help you understand your patterns and build tools you can actually use between sessions. To me, counseling is bigger than solving the problem in front of you. It is about restoring what the struggle has taken and growing into a fuller life.

Faith is welcome in my office, never required. For clients who want it, I integrate Christian principles as a genuine source of strength and direction. For those who don’t, I meet you exactly where you are. Your beliefs, your goals, and your pace shape our work.

I hold a Master of Divinity alongside my clinical training, with additional credentials in chemical dependency care. Sessions are available in person in Cumberland or by secure telehealth, and insurance is accepted. Nobody is built to carry a heavy season alone.
