Jaclyn Kimmel

Hi, I’m Jackie Kimmel, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona. My creativity and desire to help others led me to work in the counseling field. After graduating with a Studio Arts degree from The University of Arizona, I volunteered as a mentor to teens in a local residential treatment center. It was during that time that I decided to pursue my career in the mental health field. In 2012, I completed my internship at an intensive outpatient program for adults with co-occurring mental health issues. In 2013, I graduated from Ottawa University with my Masters in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Expressive Art Therapy. I then completed 5 years of post-graduation experience, as well as acquired supervision hours, as a child therapist at a non-profit organization. After that time, I transitioned to private practice where I work with children, teens, and adults. These days, I mostly work with individuals 18 and up.
