Patzia Gonzalez

Resolve what's core, recover who you are.

About Me

From the very first session, Patzia Gonzalez works to move something — not just to talk about it. Rather than easing into months of open-ended exploration, she draws on over two decades of psychotherapy practice to get to the core of what a person is carrying, and to help them set it down. Her approach is experiential in nature, meaning clients engage with their inner world directly, not just analytically, and that distinction tends to make the work feel both immediate and lasting.

Patzia works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating some of life’s harder passages — anxiety, abuse and its aftermath, divorce and separation, parenting strain, family conflict, and the slow erosion of self-worth that can follow prolonged emotional pain. She knows firsthand how relentless pressure — from a teenager managing social crises that now follow them home through a screen, to parents trying to stay connected with children who seem to live somewhere else entirely — can quietly hollow out a person’s sense of themselves.

Originally trained in Mexico, Patzia brought her practice to Newmarket, Ontario, where she sees clients in person and online. She conducts sessions in both English and Spanish. Her deepest commitment is to help people recover what she calls their aliveness — that felt sense of being present, purposeful, and genuinely at home in their own life.
