About Me

Adults living with chronic pain, serious illness, or the weight of caring for someone they love are at the center of Liana Preudhomme’s practice. Many of the people she works with have found that their medical reality has quietly reshaped their sense of self — leaving them depleted, anxious about what comes next, or struggling to hold onto what used to matter. Preudhomme, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Cape Coral, Florida, built her practice specifically around this intersection of physical health and emotional life.

Her methods are drawn from a tight set of evidence-based approaches — CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy — chosen because they address both how people think and how the body carries stress. For clients whose days are already fragmented by fatigue or discomfort, she also pays attention to how the constant pull of notifications and screens chips away at the mental steadiness needed to rest, recover, and stay present. Sessions are collaborative, grounded in everyday life, and oriented toward concrete change rather than open-ended exploration.

Preudhomme trained in health psychology at the University of Miami and completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia. She sees clients in person at her Cape Coral practice, Cape Clarity Integrative Psychology, and via telehealth throughout Florida.
