Lived experience sits at the heart of how Robert Goulard works. An RSW based in Tecumseh, Ontario, he brings to each session not only formal clinical training but a firsthand understanding of what it actually takes to face personal struggles and come through them changed. That combination shapes everything about the way he works with people.
Robert helps teenagers, adults, couples, and families work through addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, abuse, and the full weight of whatever has been keeping them stuck. He works with adolescents who are trying to hold together their sense of self while social pressures follow them home on every device, and with parents trying to stay connected to kids who seem more reachable by notification than by conversation. He holds credentials in DSM-V diagnosis and treatment and draws on a broad range of modalities, including individual, couples, family, and group counselling, as well as spiritual counselling and EAP support. Online sessions are available.
Robert’s view is that seeking help is not a concession to weakness — it is the decision to stop being defined by a problem and start using it as a foundation for something better. His goal is to help clients identify exactly what is blocking them and find practical, lasting ways to move past it.
