Steph Troyer Williams believes that real change shows up in daily life — in how a child handles a hard moment, how a couple finds their way back to each other, how a family learns to argue less and listen more. An LMHC based in Noblesville, Indiana, Steph works with children as young as three, teenagers, women, families navigating divorce or blending households, and adults carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, or past abuse. She draws on play therapy, art, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and family systems work, meeting each person where they are.
Her background spans court-ordered parenting classes, community counseling clinics, church-based counseling centers, and a clinical advisory role at The Cherish Center in Noblesville. She’s trained in the Children In Between curriculum, which she teaches to divorcing parents and their children in Madison County, and she’s a registered Star Behavioral Health Provider, serving military families. When she works with couples and families, she pays close attention to the quieter friction points — like a phone pulled out mid-conversation or an argument that escalates over text before anyone’s said a word face to face.
In 2011, Steph founded Hope’s Road, her private practice. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Milligan College and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. Online sessions are available.
