Steve Ralph

As Founder and CEO of Open Ingenuity, LLC, Dr. Steve Ralph is passionate about catalyzing ingenuity in those he comes into contact with. His vision for Open Ingenuity is centered on designing and delivering customized workshops, individual coaching, speaking engagements and organizational retreats and special productions that ignite creativity and innovation for leaders and teams across a wide spectrum of industries. During the inception of Open Ingenuity, Dr. Ralph founded and produced the creativity and social innovation conference, EPIC International Summit, recognized as one of the top 10 most innovative meetings in North America (Bizbash) featuring leaders from organizations such as the Walt Disney Company, NASA/JPL, Lionsgate and award-winning actors, entrepreneurs and educators.

Dr. Ralph is a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods facilitator and licensed trainer with Strategic Play Global, a certified FourSight® Mindset Facilitator and consults with organizations utilizing the creative problem-solving process. As a professor at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, Dr. Ralph teaches courses in creativity and innovation, leadership and team dynamics across a variety of graduate business degree programs. His coaching training background is from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Dr. Ralph’s professional background has also included business development and corporate relations roles in higher education, entertainment and non-profit industries, where he has received accolades for his entrepreneurial leadership.​

Dr. Ralph earned his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University.  His research interests are centered in creativity and innovation, with special focus in leadership development, personal disruption, pause practices, biomimicry and the impact of exponential technology
