Children, teenagers, and families in crisis are at the center of Andrea Schultz’s work — and have been for more than 25 years. A Licensed Professional Counselor based in Plano, Texas, Andrea has spent her career focused on the moments when young people and the families around them are struggling most: with anxiety and depression, with the aftermath of abuse and trauma, with the fractures that divorce and blended-family life can bring.
Her clinical background runs deep. She spent 16 years at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center as both a therapist and clinical supervisor, and earlier in her career she built a children’s clinical program for families affected by domestic violence. That history informs a practice that now serves children, adolescents, adults, and families — helping with behavioral challenges, school difficulties, anger, self-esteem, grief, parenting, and relationship conflicts, among other concerns. She also brings a Christian counseling perspective for clients who want faith integrated into their work.
Andrea’s orientation is practical and forward-looking: the past shapes us, but it doesn’t have to govern us. Her goal is to equip each client with more effective ways of thinking, feeling, and responding — so that meaningful change becomes possible. Online sessions are available.
