About Me

For over 25 years, I’ve been talking to people about sex. As a sex and relationship therapist, I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, am a registered psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have taken multiple sex therapy trainings including the Guelph Sex Therapy Training Program, where I also have been an invited speaker. In addition to multiple media appearances (including a Tedx talk), I also have trained sex educators, therapists, and groups of interested folks on topics of sexual pleasure and sexual challenges.

Due to a mounting number of requests, I began as a private coach to individuals and with couples in 2000. What makes my approach unique is that my training is extremely varied. In addition to academic work and varied experiences with a diversity of clients, I’ve gained incredible knowledge from hands-on programs that teach sex in ways that can never be gleaned from a book.

In 2017, I decided to broaden my skills and pursued a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology which has enabled me to now practice as a Registered Psychotherapist with a focus on sexual difficulties for individuals and couples as well as on other relational challenges for couples.

Passionate about helping people reach their sexual potential, I have the expertise and ability to understand the complexity of our individual sexuality, the interconnectedness of our relationships as well as the simple ideas and techniques that can transform a challenge into a new exciting opportunity. My style is relaxed and professional, and helps my clients find deeper understanding of the issues at hand and optimal resolution.
