Christopher Carlin

Whatever has brought someone through the door — a marriage fraying under pressure, a child struggling in school, a person wrestling with substances or the pull of compulsive patterns that now extend into gaming or late-night scrolling — Christopher Carlin and his team meet that difficulty where it actually lives. The work at ASD Center for Therapeutic Services begins with the understanding that pain rarely fits a clean category, and that the right support has to be shaped around the person, not the other way around.

Carlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving individuals, couples, families, and groups across a wide range of concerns: anxiety, mood and depressive disorders, trauma, abuse recovery, addiction, developmental and personality disorders, and the particular challenges faced by children, teenagers, and those with special needs. Sessions are available online for those who need that flexibility.

The practice is built on relationship first. Carlin and his colleagues bring both clinical training and genuine empathy to every client they work with, holding the view that skilled therapy draws on more than technique alone — it draws on the human capacity to reduce suffering and restore hope.
