Jody Coucill believes that effective counselling starts with genuine collaboration — that the best path forward is one built together, shaped around the individual sitting across from her. A Registered Social Worker based in Regina, Saskatchewan, she draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, selecting and blending what actually fits each person rather than applying a single framework to everyone.
Jody holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Ambrose University. She has completed advanced EMDR training and Postpartum Support International’s Advanced Psychotherapy Training, and brings deep experience supporting perinatal and maternal wellness through her work with Saskatchewan Health Authority. Whether anxiety is quietly building through the habit of checking a phone one more time before sleep, or a client is carrying unprocessed trauma, navigating postpartum changes, or working through grief, anger, or low self-esteem, Jody’s practice is oriented toward real and lasting change.
A self-described health enthusiast, she is glad to coordinate care alongside a client’s physician, naturopath, or nurse practitioner. Online sessions are available.
