John Caparisos

A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Caparisos has been guiding individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most disorienting passages since 1986. His work spans a wide range: anxiety, trauma, abuse recovery, addiction, career upheaval, and the particular exhaustion that comes when a person cannot seem to leave work behind even after they have physically walked out the door.

He draws on an unusually broad therapeutic toolkit — including Emotional Freedom Techniques, Advanced Energy Psychology, BioEnergy System Therapy, and specialized training in hypnotherapy — to meet clients where conventional talk therapy alone may not reach.
