With a clinical background that spans emergency room crisis work, community mental health, and private practice since 2008, Lori Lorraine brings a grounded, wide-ranging depth to her work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She has helped individuals navigate mood and depressive disorders, eating and sleep disorders, anxiety, abuse and trauma, professional burnout, and family-of-origin patterns — as well as those who simply want to grow and live more fully. She also recognizes how compulsive reward-seeking shows up in new forms today, whether that’s hours lost to scrolling or the pull of online gambling, and understands these patterns through the same clinical lens she applies to impulse control more broadly.
Lori holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Eastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University. Her approach centers on more than symptom relief: she works to uncover the deeper roots beneath what a person is experiencing, examining thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to replace what isn’t working with something that does. She offers both in-person and online sessions.
She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is part of what makes change possible, and invites new clients to begin with a free consultation — not as a formality, but as a genuine chance to see whether the fit feels right. Reaching out, she’ll tell you, takes real courage.
