Change, in Sarah White’s view, begins not with weakness but with what a person already carries into the room. Her work as a Registered Psychotherapist is built on the conviction that clients arrive with genuine strengths and inner resources — and that the real task is helping those capacities find their footing. Rather than focusing on what is broken, she works to identify and reinforce what is already working, then traces persistent struggles back to their roots so that recurring patterns can finally be interrupted.
Sarah holds a Master of Science in Individual, Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph and brings more than 35 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan — from very young children to the elderly. She supports people navigating anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, addiction, abuse recovery, relationship conflict, and career stress, among much else. She has also worked extensively within workplace and corporate settings, offering conflict resolution and training — experience that proves relevant when the boundaries between professional life and personal life quietly collapse, as they do for people who find the workday never quite ends once a phone is always within reach.
Sarah is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and an Approved Supervisor with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her most recent professional focus is Traumatic Incident Reduction, which she applies to PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and phobias. She sees clients in person near Brockville, Ontario, and virtually across Canada and beyond.
